Hello 6th Graders!
We are inviting all 6th graders to participate in our Don't Meth With Us Zoom on Thursday November 19th at 1:30 sharp! You will find the scheduled Zoom meeting link and code in Schoology up dates.
Substance abuse continues to be a huge problem, especially in rural communities like ours. In our presentation, we will learn more about the dangers of gateway drugs, the highly addictive nature of methamphetamines, the consequences for the person, their family, and their community when they have a drug addiction, and making good life choices. There will be a pretest, a post test, and an invitation to participate in a drawing contest or an essay contest, your choice. The winners of the drawing and the essay contest will win a prize and an invitation to come to a Rotary Club lunch meeting in the future. All participants who attend the zoom presentation, turn in a pretest, a post test, and an essay or drawing will receive a Don't Meth With Us T-shirt, a pledge card, and a wrist band!
